A friend of mine bought a MMR. What batteries if any are used to save memory? Should I have them replaced, with Lithium, or NVRAM?

One #2032 on Small board in the head.
It's a common round one, so NVRAM won't work, no idea if they are Lithium or not.
LTG : )
Mine started losing date and time recently, changing the CR2032 on the main board seems to have fixed it.
Yeah, it's weird and seems I'm not the only one having to change the battery. The game is 10 months old, maybe it was a bad batch or the RTC sucks juice like a mofo
I've heard a lot of reports of date/time resetting, but I didn't think that was related to the battery.
As for replacing, CR2032 are pretty much the most standard coin cell batteries out there. you can buy them 3 for $1 at a dollar store and even those should last you a couple years. If you're feeling like a high roller, you an shell out $2 for a couple Energizer lithium batteries (https://amzn.com/B0002DSVS8)
