I almost bought/pre-ordered a MMR after it was initially announced at Expo but this nice original HUO MM came up locally I couldn't pass up on. I am the third owner, original goodie bag still stapled inside the game and the manual still cracks whenever I open it

I have no regrets and was enjoying my MM for almost 2-2.5 years before my other friends started receiving delivery of their MMRs. I still prefer the original over remake for the reasons mentioned above such as 20+ years of repair knowledge available online, readily available replacement parts/boards and the fact that I can also interchange parts/boards with my other WPC95 games to troubleshoot also helps too. In the end if you can't get a nice original MM for around the same price as a MMR then I would say go with remake. I will say the new colored dots on MMR look amazing and I don't think either plays/feels better than the other.

Quoted from vid1900:

I mean, I hope the CGC stays in business forever, but much larger, better capitalized companies have gone bankrupt or live on in name only .
MontgomeryWards, Compaq, Wang, Kodak, Schwinn, CircuitCity, Bridgeport, Craftsman....

You can add Gibson to that list now too

Quoted from gunstarhero:

I haven't observed "OMG MM IS GONNA LOSE IT'S VALUE" phenomena either, which is why I ended up with an MMR instead of a MM, lol.

If people would stop looking at the hobby as an "investment" maybe they will enjoy it more... nuff said
