After hitting the castle gate the ball will roll down, hit the troll covers (which are raised slightly) and be guided sdtm. Is this normal and is there a fix. I have some stealth protector sheets from Pinball Pal and thought I might build up that area. Any suggestions?
The gate shot was designed to be a risk-reward shot, so expect a fair amount of that. However, the flaps should sit flush with the PF ; if not, you'd be best to adjust/replace the flaps accordingly. Also, be sure the pin is leveled right-left with a level on the PF.

If the flaps can't be bent to rest pretty flat on the play field it may be time to replace them. Slower moving balls will still be effected by them though.
