This was one of my concerns, I saw the under playfield pic when I was about to preorder and I bailed. It looks like a lot of parts will be different, the CPU, the drivers integrated into the lamp board, LEDs soldered to the board for the inserts. I can't imagine by looking at the pics that the mechs will be the same. And no details at all about the DMD. I'm happy that they are doing a remake, I didn't purchase my MM as an investment.... It's a keeper so value is irrelevant to me; but there are still a lot of unknowns about the new MM.

I think people are a bit blind sighted right now by the allure of getting their hands on that elusive game and are ignoring the fact that it is a MM skin run on a new unproven platform.
