Quoted from thedarkknight77:Rick is clearly a great guy, but this was handled as poorly as it gets. Not sure how they didn't know 1000 would sell out ASAP. I would answer that with a "Get a clue guys".............pinball is what you live and breath and you should have know. These guys were completely caught off guard. Did they not learn from Metallica LE. It would have take nothing to have done a quick under cover survey. Clearly everyone in the "know" heard this was coming and were given months to sell their games. I love how they are stating that they care about the customer and didn't want to take all the money upfront. BS!!!! If they required the money upfront, they would have eliminated dealers stashing stock and buyers placing multiple orders. How foolish do these guys think we are?? This hobby is loaded with very intelligent business people and the crap they are talking is amazing. We hear enough of that crap from the jerks in Washington, we don't need it in pinball.
JUST REMEMBER RICK, YOU ASKED FOR THE CRAP YOU ARE ABOUT TO GET! IN THE END, THIS WAS HANDLED VERY POORLY, YOU COULD HAVE EASILY GIVEN EXTRA CLEAR ON THE STANDARD PLAY FIELD. TRIM AND SHAKER IS EASY TO CHANGE, BUT YOU KNOW CLEAR COAT MATTERS TO YOUR CUSTOMERS AND YET YOU DID NOTHING ABOUT IT!!!!!!! IT"S NOT TOO LATE TO DO WHAT IS RIGHT!! STOP THE STORM BEFORE IT STARTS......................
It is simple. There are many other games out there begging for a remake. YOU secure all the rights. YOU put all of the infrastructure in place. YOU develop a network of distributors to handle this.
YOU DO IT. And then you will have room to speak.
I applaud the courage and conviction of Planetary, Spooky, JJP and the Predator group.
Alot of people talk. THESE people actually DO.
