    Quoted from hank527:

I think AFM at $8k is not going to sell well.
My hope is Cactus Canyon as that was under produced and should have a, much higher demand than AFM

That could have me pull the trigger again as well. I agree MM is a unique title that has built in demand to pay just about anything. What is more reasonable to drive demand 6-7000. But maybe they will MSRP for $8000 then sell for less if demand is not there. If, for example, they sell the MMr for less than full price everyone will wait to see what demand is on all the future pins.

    Quoted from McCune:

The secondary market on MMR will not be the same as the secondary market on the MM.
I would say that the secondary market on MMR will be less money than a brand new MMR .
Secondary MM have already proved what they are worth and while them may come down in price for a while.
I believe that the original MM will always be sought after and WILL bring more money, AS A USED MACHINE.

I think your wrong, unless it is a HEP like restored MM. Most high quality pins are purchased by pin players who baby their machines. It is a much smaller percentage that collect pins ala car collectors that never drive them.

PS when you need new parts as they wear out it is going to be less and less a true original if it even is now.

The aging demographic for pinball collector is a dwindling demand curve unlike the massive demographic for cars.
