I have an original MM that I got back in 2010. I paid less than what the new remakes are going for, but if I cared what they were worth, I would've sold it years ago for a ton more than I paid, but I didn't. I didn't want to sell it then and I still don't. For me, I just love the game! It's a blast to play and I also love bringing it to shows and letting everyone enjoy a real MM. A lot of people never got to play a MM before, so that has been really nice……and I REALLY enjoyed messing with everyone at expo that thought I sold mine for $4500 OBO. Sorry, just couldn't resist! Anyway I guess I won't have to bring it any more to shows since everyone will be able to buy one now. No big deal. If I didn't have a MM already I would be buying a new one for sure. I'm not upset at all that the new ones are coming out. I'm just glad that I have one already, it's the real deal, AND I can play it now. ….I also like sitting back and watching all the speculation on what the value of MM will be in the future…..hey, look at it this way, we have something to look forward to in the future in pinball. Oh yeah, I still think that even at 8K, that's a hell of a lot of money for a pinball machine……better price than MM has been, but STILL A LOT of money for me!
