Well the popper was kicking the ball out real fast and it just shot straight down exactly between flippers nearly every time. I just took some small strips of tape at exit top metal then wraped one more over it.
Gives the ball a little cushion so it don't pop out of there a million miles a hour. You can see any of it, it's under the left ramp
There might be a better fix but this works and pops the ball out slower so it rolls down that left metal form to ledt flipper. My game before was fine but this has a new metal form and coil. More faster and power than old I guess

My game had the same problem when I first got it. It was so long ago but I'm pretty sure I solved it by adjusting the angle/strength of the eject coil on that popper assembly. If you look you will find it has some slotted screws on the coil bracket for doing this. Mine works perfectly now without any modification to the metal guide.
