Hi there,

My MM gate opto is not working anymore. In test mode it's not registering and with a camera I can not see a light. Can't see a good light on the moat opto either but that one is working perfect. I see something there, but it's not good enough to confirm the other not working.

I want to change the black opto but I'm not sure if it's the transmittor or the receiver.

Can someone explain how to test it? I tried with a remote but that did not work. It's a bit of a tight area.

Can I use a multimeter? If so, what setting do I use? And where to put it exactely?

Second question:
When I want to remove the opto , any idea how to easily do that? Maybe someone had pictures?

It's a difficult area to reach and solder. Was hoping someone could give me a hint on what to do and don't.
