I just saw this movie and also noticed the cameos.
The guy playing Creature is method acting. If you look close at the DMD, you can see it says "FREE PLAY PRESS START"

Good eye I never noticed that. This post brings back memories of when I was willing to spend 15,000 for a MM. Man what a difference a year makes.
