Yanks came back after being down 4-0 last night. Tough game tonight though against Keuchel.

Quoted from OLDPINGUY:He takes me back to Mickey Mantle years....
I went to a Yankees game in '67. Mantle hit home runs from both sides of the plate and the Yanks still lost to the Twins 3-2.
It's great to see the Yankees win playoff games again. I have to hand it to the Astros. They were doormats not long ago and now are one of the best teams in baseball.
I hadn't heard about expansion or re-alignment either. I can't believe they are considering having another team in Montreal. I went to an Expos game in their second to the last year in Montreal and there were less than 5,000 in attendance. Olympic Stadium is horrible for baseball games: the seats are cheap plastic and far from the field. The roof is too low (Vladimir Guerrero hit the roof in the last game I saw there). It's amazing how poor that stadium is considering it cost $1 billion. Portland is a small market but they support the Trail Blazers.
I hate that realignment scenario. Eliminating the AL and NL takes away over 100 years of history. I am not a fan of interleague play but the genie is out of the bottle on that one. They would need to add one team in order to eliminate interleague play anyway, or back to 14 teams in one league and 16 in the other. I did not read the entire article so I am not sure how the playoffs would be set up to figure out who goes to the World Series. I do like the idea of shortening the season but I doubt the owners would give up the revenue.
Quoted from Xerico:While the game last night was fantastic to watch, I felt bad for the lady who caught the Puig Home Run Ball and some jack ass next to her takes the ball from her and tosses it back into the field.
If the jackass who threw it back had caught it himself, then that is his choice to make.
But throwing someone else's caught ball is just a jackass move.
He must have been their friend or relative, because security was not called to the section. I know I would have caused some drama over that if it were me or anyone else in my group who lost a World Series Home Run to a jack ass like that.
If I am ever lucky enough to catch a home run ball at a world series, regardless of which team hit the home run, I'm not handing that ball to anyone else to view or touch until after the game, in my own car.
All in all, this World Series is super entertaining. And while I root for the Astros, I think both teams have played fantastic baseball.
Marcus
It was an in-law who grabbed the ball and threw it back. She apparently said she was pissed because she wanted to throw the ball back herself.
