    Go Cubs!

    I say the LA Dodgers.

    #3 2 years ago

    Sox. Red. mic drop.

    #4 2 years ago

    Let's Go Tribe

at least I get to go to the last game sunday

    #5 2 years ago

I think the Nationals and the Dodgers are going to be hard to beat, then on the AL side, the Tribe and the Astros. I can see any of them going to the series.

    #6 2 years ago

    Astros all the way.

    #7 2 years ago

Kluber + Carrasco + The Tribe pen. Post All Star break they have a team ERA of 2.82. The next closest team in the MLB (Washington) is at 3.46. A lot of that was without Miller too.

    #8 2 years ago

    Go Cubs Go!!!

    #9 2 years ago

Tribe for sure. Tribe for sure for sure if Miller is back.

    #10 2 years ago

    Cubs!!!

    #11 2 years ago

Houston is overdue....for far too long they were considered the farm team for the Majors giving away lots of talent and believing in the theory that great pitching will beat great hitting. While statistics show there is truth to that you still gotta put up some runs to win. That was the old Astros mentality for far too long.

Now we have solid pitching, good hitting, and solid fielding as well. This team is built to be a contender for years to come.

Better pick that mic back up. They still need to clinch their division.

As much as I would like to see the Cubs repeat.... I think it's Cleveland's year!

    We've done it twice before.

    #18 2 years ago

White Sox!!! Oh wait, still a few years away....

No White Sox this year so I go AL Central (Tribe and Twinkies).

One game wild card playoffs and a team getting a bye and all teams celebrating with champagne for making the playoffs no way, bring me hockey which starts Wed, go Pens, but glad to see the Cubs and Dbacks in the playoffs.

The fact that no team gets a bye was a dead giveaway lol

Go tribe! This is the year.

I'm pretty certain last year was there too though lol. The rain delay saved the cubs. I'm a huge cubs fan but no way we should have came back and won that one

Not Canadian but yes Hockey is a much better game especially the playoffs.

I don't know much about hockey but last years mlb playoffs were about as good as it gets. Not just because I'm a cubs fan. All those come backs and games 7s were pretty awesome

No byes, but NHL playoffs start with 16 teams - more than half the league! This diminishes the importance of the regular season too much for me.

I prefer the MLB's system as a team has to work harder to make the playoffs.

    #30 2 years ago

Looking to add a poll now that teams are set if I can get Robin or a moderator to allow me to do so. I was under the impression that I could add this at any time, but apparently that's not the case.

I'm tired of reminiscing about the past..I really hope that my Dodgers take the next step and win it all.

I'm a Cubs fan and last years playoffs was one of the best sports moments of my life, the best really. But playoff hockey is absolutely amazingly especially is your favorite team advances to the Finals. I've tried to explain and teach the game to Virginians ( Chicago transplant) and have had some success converting a few.

The feelings I had of suspense and drama during the Cubs World Series run are almost comparable to a playoff hockey series. Hard to describe to people who didn't grow up watching hockey as a kid (or listening to it in the radio because blackhawks owner would black out games) I'm a huge sports fan..most sports but playoff hockey is fricking awesome and it's the sport I follow least.
    Just my 2 cents

    No.

Gotta imagine that they're the "hungriest" given how close they came last year.

    #36 2 years ago

I'm hoping the Indians pull it out this year. My team's out... I've south of Cleveland for a few years. That city needs some joy and happiness!

Sorry but they can't play the pity card anymore. Cavs won two seasons ago, and Tribe was one game away last year against a team that everyone thought would win easily.

Now we have to pity cincy fans, Washington fans, and probably Detroit fans too. Haha

    #38 2 years ago

    The Browns make me sad.

    #39 2 years ago

It's pretty obvious the Dodgers have been the best overall team this year with the best record in baseball. How that will translate to the playoffs, we'll just have to wait and see.

    #40 2 years ago

Want Cubs, but think the tribe takes it.

    #42 2 years ago

I'm hoping the tribe can pull it out.

    #43 2 years ago

Hoping the Tribe takes it this year. It will make going to the Browns Superbowl parade just that much sweeter!

Overall - yeah with 104 wins. They were white hot for much of the first half of the season, but they've cooled down some since.

    #45 2 years ago

And heated back up just in time for the playoffs.

As you said o-din, we shall see how that translates to the playoffs. Play ball!

    And GO CUBS!!!

    #47 2 years ago

When was the last time a champ repeated? Without looking it up....

    #48 2 years ago

Cubbies all day! And let's Go Hawks!

    #49 2 years ago

I believe it was the Yankees. Yankees-Dodgers could be epic.

    #50 2 years ago

What else needs to be said? Go America's Team!
