I've been answering/ sending PM's like crazy today. A huge thank you to all who are supporting this effort!!!!....must nap as I finish/ test a final harness tonight, then give to one of my techs next week to crank out 25 (sounds like a small # to some...seems big to me at the moment). Thanks....

Really hoping end of week, 2 weeks tops. I'd really like to post preview once or twice tops before everything is locked down on who is getting one or not.

I've realized a step by step of the build is far TMI with a custom piece. No worries, what will be shown will be more than enough....

I'm in "harness hell" currently, ensuring this is as straightforward as possible from an install standpoint.

The final version with the art (unbelievable!!!) will only be revealed when Lior deems appropriate.

Super OCD mode as everything purchased and moving at a steady pace now. Refining the build to make the install as simple as possible ( mainly the harness/ electrical elements).

Lior's work is off the charts for me w this..his attention to detail is insane. .Pretty sure you will like it...

Not sold out , though preorders and some on the early list have ensured they will get one.

Many interested though, more than what will be made. A fun, but involved journey thus far...

Cutoff line indicates who asked first and will be guaranteed one if they want it, once enough is revealed, if not, then next up, so your right. I won't consider them sold out until all paid for and gone.

(Part of your thinking on the art is correct, btw...)

Minor update for the thread:

I'm very busy assembling parts, harnesses, receiving, stuff, etc.. Had no idea that doing a run of 25 of these would be so time consuming!!!

The build is really exceeding my expectations, and very happy with how it's all coming together.

Will only do 1 reveal that is a complete build, without showing any art. Then people are in or out as I go down the line for the few that remain.

Won't be posting much until then, as I'm really putting in alot of time to get these done correctly, tested, and available.

The final version, with art, will be shown here in the thread of course, for everyone to dissect accordingly.....

Still targeting end of week. That's going to depend on the metal finish guy. Finish is a very cool black metal oxide w slight sheen to it. Trying to get him to hit 2 aprons with it (he wanted to do all 25 at once, but they won't be done by week's end), so you get a better idea what it looks like. The frosted acrylics will have no art and reveal version done. Mock harness w strobe, other lighting done.

Believe my anticipated ship date on these things is still way doable by 1st, 2nd week of October, as originally planned.

Thanks, but nah...this shop has done custom fab for me ( business stuff) for over 18 years so I trust them ( and owner's word) completely. Always up front w me, just have to get it in their schedule as they are full time cranking on stuff.

They are really just bending metal for me on this...the light boxes threw them a bit as I had to draw those and were 2 additional pieces in the build.

Well, my oxide finish guy isn't going to get 2 done for me by Friday (spoke w him today). No point showing it until the thing is complete, less art reveal. Going to go make a couple more harnesses now......my bulk order of motion trackers left today, should arrive very soon so that's a good thing.
