I believe I need to rebuild the HV section for my Bad Cats display. The +100 volt pin has 0 volts. In looking at the parts I need to do so, according to Clay's guide, I need MJE340, which looks to be 300 volts instead of MJE 15030, which is 150 volts. MJE 15030, which is recommended, seems to be no longer made. Is is okay to use MJE 340 at Q1?

So why does Clay's guide list MJE340 as the transistor at Q1, but Great Plains has it as MJE 15030? And is MJE 15030 the same as MJE15030G? Most places don't have 15030, but they do sell the 15030G.

Thanks!
