So, I'm taking a last minute road trip north from my Louisiana river town. The main goal is to escape oppressive heat and spend some time around the Great Lakes. Just the wife, the six month old child and a strong sense of wanderlust coupled to an odd obsession with the silver ball. Left yesterday after a "quick" four hour run down to New Orleans for a meeting. Left Nola at 4:00 pm and woke this morning in Batesville, MS. It was 98 degrees F when I left New Orleans... Today, the goal is St. Louis! Hoping to check out CP Pinball tonight before picking out the next stop north the day after. After making some calls to pinball joints around St. Louis, I'm finding a strong 21+ age requirement a lot of places. Hope that's not always the case as I move north! St. Louis goals are City Museum, ramen noodles and CP Pinball! Anyone have suggestions for the next possible stop of Madison, Wisconsin?
