I'm missing the Dracula speech on my Elvira and the Party Monsters. I've replaced the CVSD chip, amps, sound ROMs, and other components on the sound board and CPU with no success.

Has anyone had a similar issue or know what I should try next?

Thanks

This issue has been posted before, and from I am reading in the old post, it appears the dracula voice sound effects are generated on the sound board, not on the MPU board. I think you are chasing the correct components to replace, but you need to be doing it on the sound board, not the MPU.

I'll go back to the soundboard schematics and try again, thanks.
