Those pics of ZZ Top...that was a cool gig. I was actually hired/drafted to bring a couple pinball machines in for this fashion week GQ pop up event downtown. The gal running it agreed to get my friend and I on the list.
So basically got to watch ZZ top play a 45 minute set literally 3 feet away from us while we got drunk on free Jack Daniels. Was so boomy. Howard Stern was standing right next to us.
DIdn't have to take the games out til a couple days later, which was good. Because I was in no shape to move pinball machines.
IT was a fantastic set. They didn't play any of the "lip sync/keyboard" songs, it was all old school blues rock.
I know it says “sharp” on the set list but I swear I don’t remember them playing it.
