About 15 years ago, I bought nine Wimi Miss Bowling Turbos and 2 G.A.A New Continental Goldens both solid state bingos that were stored in a warehouse and worked before stored and at a very cheap price.(see IPDB for pictures). The guy i got them off of bought them in Belgium. I got all of them all working except two of them, which i gave one free game to people who bought two of them from me.
With the help of a NJ tech who flew out to Belgium to learn how to work on them when they were originally purchase, i learn a great deal about them from him in a short period of time, mostly general operation and key pad functions etc.
I kept one of the best condition Miss Bowling Turbos and the best New Continental Golden. I still have the New Continent Golden in my collection that has worked flawless up until about a month ago. The Miss Bowling Turbo after having in my collection for 5 years was i sold working perfect. They hold up well once their gone through and working.
The only real problem with these solid state bingos are you have to make sure they don't have any custom security codes that were installed at the factory to the original operators that purchased the game. Without knowing the codes the game is locked up and won't start up and you'll be at a dead end for a long time.
If the game is free of these security codes then i don't see a problem getting the game. If you know how to work on solid state flipper games you'll have a good chance of getting the game to work.
Do you know the year the game was made and the name of the of the manufactured(Sirmo)? Is there a manual? Any pictures?
The value of these games aren't worth much, but i know for a fact that they are wonderful bingo pinball machines and are loaded with tons of features you can't find in an EM bingo pinball machine. Bingo pinball machines are becoming more popular today and everyone in the hobby has heard about them and considering adding one to their collection. Just check out Bingo Row at the York Show the last few years. Pinball collectors are finding out Flipper games play like the game of "Checkers and Bingos play like the game of Chess".
