If you sell a reproduction product, then it is reasonable for the buyer to assume that it is of the same quality as, functions the same as, and at least matches the reliability of the original.
It’s the sellers fault for knowingly putting garbage into the post and then hoping the buyer accepts it. It’s not the customers job to do QA for them, and it certainly shouldn’t cost the customer significant international shipping fees (on large products) for the privilege.
