Quoted from MrBally:One month of play on this Mirco playfield at PHoF. A clear cover was added to stop the damage from spreading.

That is completely insane. A lot of people play those games but I’ve never seen anything like that.

What would be really cool but not possible would be to get every single person that Mirco has ripped off to hop flights and show up at his business all at the same time. There would be literally hundreds of people there. That would make a statement he can’t ignore.
Mirco should offer playfields without that crap clear so people who want a good clear can just send it to someone who actually gives a crap if it’s right.
I’m facing the decision of grabbing his Banzai Run set. If I do I think I’d have to have it recleared or I think I’d be sorry.
Quoted from High_End_Pins:That is terrible.
Failure at the mounting points
Failure at the ball ejects
Failure at the ball drops
Failure at the inserts.
That is several different scenarios all in one playfield.
Chris, would that playfield have been saved if it had been properly recleared?
I’m in the same boat for the Banzai Run I just acquired. Mirco has the full set and CPR only has the lower playfield. At least we know both of these companies had the original films for this game along with the original colors to match correctly. It’s killing me to think I might either have to use Mirco or leave my game looking not so great. The extra money I would put into it to have it recleared would not be any more than having the old playfields touched and cleared.
Quoted from Anony:I'm not likely to actually buy one but when you have an older, rarer machine with a really beat up playfield and there's only one place in the world to get a replacement it's still tempting. If someone else buys one and it has no issues I'd strongly consider it as annoying as it will be to have to give him money.
I agree with this 100%. I have a Banzai run I want to restore, but CPR only makes the lower playfield so it’s Mirco and get everything or a combo of Mirco and CPR. Or just not fixing it up at all and leaving it as is. It’s very frustrating.
