I just noticed that Mirco now has Black Knight playfields available with metallic glitter on the upper knight and sword. They look nice. (The photo is from Mirco’s gallery)

I sincerely appreciate his efforts to provide stuff for the community, I really do. But without durability/quality it's pointless. His playfields have been documented to have clear coat issues, misplaced holes, misdrilled (crooked) holes. I'm hoping after the JJP debacle he's gotten his act together and realized the community won't stand for spending $1000+ for a product that is hit or miss. Keeping fingers crossed!

Sounds like you have had some bad experiences. I have purchased and installed 9 CPR playfields (3 were Black Knights) over the years and 5 NOS Bally/Williams playfields. They’ve all had issues, but we’re huge improvements overall. I’ve never purchased a Mirco playfield, but was seriously considering buying a Sorcerer from him. It would be the first directly printed playfield for me. Hopefully any major quality control issues from the past have been addressed. I do think that it’s nice that Black Knights are available again after a 13 year absence.

I second the clear coat issues. Mirco is the source of ?all of JJPs? clear coat fiascos.
I wouldn't touch Mirco PFs with a 10foot pole because of the clear issues. Too much risk for a 1k part.

.. Not to mention shady business practices.

No worries, all clearcoat issues have been solved and will not show up again.

I do not want to have another clearcoat discussion going on here, please use the threads about that this one is only a sales thread.

    Regards,
    Mirco

I agree. I do feel that my thread was immediately highjacked. There are other threads that were created to cover quality concerns. I was just happy to see some in demand older titles being produced. I am curious about the digital printing process that Mirco and now CPR are using. I think I will order a Sorcerer playfield from Mirco and decide for myself.

We use a high end printer where you can see any difference in most colors and the color which cannot be done in digital are printed as a screen. It is no problem for me to do hybrids...

    Of course you don't.
Sorry, but your word just isn't good enough.
