It took 9 months for Q*Bert to come, but it’s worth the wait. I ordered DL and Space Ace last month. These things are a hit at parties, and mine are on a window ledge that’s a perfect height for gawking and playing.

I got the little Coronas on Amazon for like $4 from China, they look great and they’re the same scale.

My DL came this morning, and a funny thing happened. My wife had no idea I’d been collecting these for 2 years, even though I have them on display in the gameroom. So I invited her to come down and see them. She stood back about 6 feet, and said “huh”. I said “You can move closer, and you can play them!” She said the controls were too small. Anyway…

I wish I could talk myself into buying a good quality 1/6 scale action figure, like the ones ThreeZero makes. The games look kinda lonesome all by themselves.

There’s been some controversy over the clear plastic display lens that makes it look like a CRT. I finally got to see this first hand tonight, on my friend’s Food Fight. We both agreed that it looks pretty good. I’m not sure all games would look good with it, but this one did. They should make the lens an option that you can choose to leave off if you want.
