I think these things are pretty cool. The company has had really good customer support in my experience. The only complaint I'd have is that they never make their Kickstarter deadlines. I think dragon's lair was 7 or 8 months late. But other than that I recommend their stuff.

Looking at the number in stock on the website, I wouldn't be surprised if these sold out within a week.

Out of stock. And Tempest sold out for good. They must have had a huge surge in orders this week.

The company said they sold out in 10 days. They say they have "a very limited supply in transit that we expect to arrive the week of 12/14." Might be a last chance to get one coming up.

Only 39 change machines left if you wanted one to go with your DL.

The detail really is amazing. They even got the score board to work. I never even realized DL had a score board until I got this.

People are throwing a fit on Facebook because they couldn't get one. Crazy.

I hope they don't. They sold these all as "Limited Edition". Each Asteroids unit is even numbered. It's not like it was hard to get these before recently.

I think 1942 is the next one based on prototypes shown at shows.

1942 is basically a double release with 1943. Two new games to add to the lineup at the same time.

Yeah. I've had one on my Keychain for a few months. Pretty cool. Definitely high quality.

The charge machine is great. A must have if you're collecting cabinets.

I don't think that's possible. They haven't even started production yet and with shipping container backups, I don't see how they could send them out before next year.

They're currently manufacturing 1943 (1942 overhaul edition) and they say their factory is only allowed to work 3 days a week due to the energy crisis or something. I haven't heard anything about q*Bert being on the line, but it sounds like it's going to be a while before they get to it.

If you look at their social media they update on their progress periodically.

Yeah. I'm not happy with the constant pre-orders without fulfilling orders in between.

Worse than that, they're adding new, better features to these new runs so the old versions are less desirable. It's like they're punishing you for being an early adopter.

I got q*Bert today. It makes me laugh that stern doesn't include a knocker in their games but this little 1/6 scale arcade cabinet has one.

Now they're selling 1/6 scale boomboxes that double as a Bluetooth speaker.

They're overdue for an update on missile command. They're too busy opening up new preorders to actually deliver on existing orders.

They haven't started production on Space Ace yet. As usual, they're way behind schedule.

I bought the Dragon's Lair overhaul but I still have the first release so I'm not even opening it unless my other one breaks. This release isn't really an overhaul the way their other releases were. It's almost exactly the same as the regular release and basically just an excuse to rerun a limited edition release because it was more popular than they expected.

I don't know why these are expected to sell out immediately. It's the second run and everyone had a chance to preorder last year.

I'm actually surprised. I thought they would have made a zillion of these as it's by far their best seller.

I don't think I'll have room for space Ace, zoltar, and the coke machine.

Space Ace has joined the line up. I'm basically out of room with the coke machine, zoltar, ghosts n goblins still pending. I don't even have a few of the variants out. Is this sustainable?

This company has peaked and now they're just playing the same stupid "pay more for limited edition crap" game that every pinball company plays. Pinside should be eating this up.

I would love to see NWT do Mortal Kombat. They did SF2. But they seem determined to make games with cheaper licensing costs these days. Looking at their silhouette roadmap, there's nothing I'm really looking forward to.
