This thing is cool.
This thing is cool.
Quoted from Jgel:
Wish it was bigger. Hoping Arcade 1UP makes one.
They probably will, although this is the first mini-Cade that I’ve thought about getting. It does look slick
Quoted from waltgman:
Got in on the Kickstarter on this. Still waiting for it to come in.
I was an early backer as well and mine arrived today. It's great that this has an HDMI out for playing on a larger screen.
I also have Centipede. Was going to get Tempest but I can't imagine playing that game without a weighted spinner (which I have on my MAME cab)
I ordered one just now I never got the email this was released(or deleted it by mistake). I have the kickstarter version of Tempest and play it off and on.
Yup on this as well , should have it any day . I also bought the poster and puzzle . Thinking of buying the charger and asteroids
I have to admit I don’t like the control panel on SF2, and the other games released haven’t been favourites of mine, so I haven’t bought any of them.
BUT, once you set them all up together with the change machine it looks really, really cool. There need to be a cigarette vending machine added too at some time. Ya know, to get that 80’s look.
Edit. I think I saw that polybuis will be their next Kickstarter, the game doesn’t play, it’s just a charger I think.

I think polybius was an April fool's joke?
I think these things are pretty cool. The company has had really good customer support in my experience. The only complaint I'd have is that they never make their Kickstarter deadlines. I think dragon's lair was 7 or 8 months late. But other than that I recommend their stuff.

Nope. It was funded last week

That's a different company. Also a different scale. The picture above is from an April fool's post. https://mobile.twitter.com/NewWaveToys/status/980559306117464065

My bad, thanks for the correction. I thought it was the same guys and the same size; guess I’m wrong.
Either way there’s more and more of these tiny arcades everyday, and their pretty cool looking in a collection.

Ordered! Thanks for the Heads up.
I would get centipede but sold out.
Looking forward to there future titles.
Tempted on Tempest...
Thank you for the post sataneatscheese.
I hadn't heard about this and just came across the post so I am in. Loved playing Dragons Lair as a kid and this will bring back some smiles for sure. Grabbed two, one for home and one when I go camping out in the trailer for rainy days.
Thank s Again!
Quoted from loren3233:
I go camping out in the trailer
You sir, have a nice trailer. You showed me around at pin a go go, 3-4 years ago.
I was a Kickstarter backer on this and am now just waiting for my unit to arrive. I have the Centipede & Tempest too, am awaiting Dragon's Lair and ordered Asteroids. I really don't play these, but they look pretty nice on a dedicated arcade shelf all powered up in the dark. If you do plan to play these, the Centipede plays best and the Tempest has a 'click'-like spinner that is not conducive to play.
Looking at the number in stock on the website, I wouldn't be surprised if these sold out within a week.
I like how you can set the game to unlimited lives for those of us who can't remember all the patterns...
Boom!!! I love it !!! Definitely buying more .
The company said they sold out in 10 days. They say they have "a very limited supply in transit that we expect to arrive the week of 12/14." Might be a last chance to get one coming up.
I got mine the other day and blown away by the detail even more so than the other games. The laser disc player in the back it a freaking hoot. What was cool is using the HDMI port to play on my TV.
Quoted from Junkhauler:
The Mini Dragon is a must have for the Dragons Lair Collector...
The attention to detail is amazing...
It looks sooooo Cool on my D.L.

The detail really is amazing. They even got the score board to work. I never even realized DL had a score board until I got this.
This looks great thanks for sharing!
Not sure if any of you guys have MAME cabs, but there are 4K versions of Dragon's Lair 1, 2 and also Space Ace available. The guy has created 60 FPS versions. Obviously original arcade hardware is the standard, but these upgrades look amazing.
Quoted from DeeGor:
These just went on sale if anyone wants one.
They sold out within minutes.
Quoted from DeeGor:
Wow, that was quick. I managed to grab a DL and Asteroids.
I grabbed a DL. Started hitting F5 at 2pm sharp as I figured they would go quick.
I would have purchased both but the shipping charge is ridiculous...was $53 for shipping, I'll pass!
Quoted from Mudflaps:
Picked up an Asteroids because why not. Will look great next to Dragon’s Lair!
Agreed!
You can Buy Asteroids Right Now. It went sold out day of event. But, was opened again several hours later. Still open, limit 2.
Quoted from seenev:
People are throwing a fit on Facebook because they couldn't get one. Crazy.
It is starting to feel like an almost full arcade over here [quoted image]
They're already talking about re-running everything again.

I hope they don't. They sold these all as "Limited Edition". Each Asteroids unit is even numbered. It's not like it was hard to get these before recently.
