Question for you guys: Why do many of these games have a circular playfield wear pattern? It almost looks like someone put a drink on the playfield.

I believe it was an insert that never went into production. It’s the millionaire “crop circle” cause it can’t really be explained.
So I am hoping someone with a Millionaire can help here. Currently the speech is not working on my machine. I am trying to test some stuff with my logic probe, but need to know which sound tests (1-7 I believe) play speech. Can anyone go into sound test and let me know?
Thanks!
Eric
This is a follow on to my rotary beacon retrofit project going back to the first post in this thread. Months ago someone sent me a scan of the original beacon insert. I cleaned up the scan a bit and the result is shown below. Updated beacon details on my Millionaire webpage at...
I have not seen a Millionaire that didn't have busted up plastics by the launch ramp. I made a new part (with great aggravation) that replaces what were two plastics. Details at the bottom of this page...
Quoted from JeffZee:I finished a rules page. Corrections welcome...

Thanks for doing this! The cheese factor in this game is overwhelming, and I certainly miss mine from time to time.
Best rules breakdown I've seen for the game!

I'm sure everyone asks this question - but any extra speaker panels laying around? I just snagged one that's been unfortunately totally repainted with the translight on a thin piece of plexi that was taped to a cracked speaker panel. I'm trying to see what parts are available to at least get it back to stock, or if I'm just going to love it for the bastard child it is.
At least the playfield is in excellent shape and the board is clean
Alright, since my speaker panel post failed so badly... Anyone happen to have an extra ball gate bracket for the upper right lock? I can bend a new gate, no problem, but the whole bracket is missing and I can't seem to find a 3.75" ball gate bracket anywhere
Got my first pinball a couple weeks ago and it was a Millionaire. Had a dozen issues but I got it all working. Wish i found this forum sooner but I actually found it after I finished. The only issue I have now is that I am missing a couple plastics and my playfeild is in really bad shape. Like I said this is my first pinball and I went into this with NO info about how these worked. I have learned so much about these machines and I love it. If any one can help me out with this playfeild that'll be awesome. Just want some advice. I know that in these photos it is really dirty I did clean it up and it looks way better but still has its ware.

I see that. Was very well done. How did you get the dimensions for the plastics you don't have?

Traceed the fragments I had and sketched/guessed the rest.

Awesome thank you. I'll have to do that. the only one I probably wont be able to do is the one levitating plastic on the left wall above the left eject hole. I'm sure I can guess the shape but I'm not sure about the art.
I guess I’m finally in the millionaire club. It’s my first pinball machine and I’m pumped. I got a bargain on it and I’m looking forward to cleaning it up.

Welcome to pinside and the pinball hobby! If you need a manual for working on your game, my deal from post #66 of this thread is still good. You can download them too, but a paper copy is nice.

Hello Millionaires
I got a problem with my pin
I cannot access the test.. i Think there is a wires issue
In fact when i can access the test but i need to Press tWo buttons to move in the test run
I got a switch problem so everytime i Start i got the Knocker goin’ crazy and i Would like to change this in the settings but i can’t access this
I hope my english not so bad
Hope Someone will help
Does anyone happen to have some pics of the roulette wheel assembly? I'm pretty sure mine was put together wrong.
Does anyone make insert decals for Mill?
I didn't see any on ebay from classic arcades..
Also, what's the positive of opening the left side drain lane? Just like a ball saver feature?
I know its a reach, but does anyone have a left slingshot plastic laying around? Have a customer who has a machine rocking and upside down, sharpied, a d hole punched Cue Ball Wizard plastic. He dies t have many others in bad shape, so a full set doesn't make sense for him.
Really hoping someone can help. That left side back lock Has a switch arm that gets pressed down by the ball entering. Then the coil fires the ball through the habittrail.
My switch activator arm is mangled and I can’t seem to get it bent the right way. I am attaching a pic.
Can someone PLEASE place a ball in their lock, like my pic, and snap a pic?
Blackbeard , the best I can do from some shop-out pics.
DSCF6104 (resized).JPGDSCF6113 (resized).JPGThanks Dozer. That should get me going.
It's hard to know whether the ball needs to come to a rest with the switch down (activated) or whether it just rolls over it.
Appreciate the help!
Here's some pictures with and without the ball. I think the key is that when the ball is on the arm, the arm stays a little to the left of the ball rather than dropping into the groove in the playfield. Also, the arm sits up pretty high without the ball. Mine works perfectly every time. Hope this helps.

Anyone here this? And no, it wasn’t a real phone.

It only plays in attract mode.
Quoted from CousinPookie:It only plays in attract mode.
Yes, it was in attract mode. What was weird is that i had it in attract mode for a couple of hours without ever hearing it. Then boom. There it was! And its not in the sound test either.
If you look back at the beginning of this thread you'll find my beacon project. That initial effort was experimental and intended to be reversible. Having lived with it for a few years I decided to make it permanent...
Just wondering if anyone sells the round clear cover window which screws on to the playfield? Mine is cracked and I would like to order a couple. Thx!
