Have an odd issue with Millionaire. The drop targets don't seem to register when hit. They drop down and come back up after the start of each ball. I thought maybe the boards were bad as I was getting error codes on startup for switch 39 and switch 40. I swapped out one board, now the error codes are gone, but there is no scoring when the drops are hit.

Does anyone have a pic of how the boards should be wired? As I just copied what was already there. Mine is currently:

Grey - 12V
Black - G
2 Whites - R
2 Green - C

Seems like those targets also take advantage of Optical sensors.... Have you checked on those?

Have you done a switch test? I would clean the optos with a q-tip and some alcohol. The receive opto must sense that the beam of light is broken by the tab on the drop target (red arrow).

Yeah, I'm aware the beam needs to be broken, that's why I bought a new board to test out.

Will clean the other old one this weekend. And see what happens. They can't all be dead......I hope.

Alright I have the drops working now, also originally thought the scored when hit, I guess they only advance the multipliers.

What was the fix?

Quoted from KillerQ:

What was the fix?

Bad solder job, had to re do it, and then reflow the points on the second opto board.
