I just got a non working rotation 8. How can I lift the PF to access the boards?

Quoted from Ballypalooza:

If I remember, unlatch the glass top through the coin door. I think there is two? Then you can carefully lift the glass off. DONT GRAB BY THE APRON TO LIFT PLAYFIELD. It’s just plastic. Should then be able to lift up from the bottom.

there were actually 2 butterfly nuts hidden under 2 plastics. Once removed, it's fine.

That allowed me to discover that the battery on the daughterboard had leaked

Would someone have pics of the rom daughterboard?
Trying to rebuild mine following a battery leak...

Quoted from Hammerhead:

That board is hard to get at, it as a fixed ribbon cable to the driver board which makes it difficult to get good photos.
What is the fix to remove the original battery and replace it with lithium watch battery or something similar?

Well that's what I'll do but I need to know which side is + ^^'
Removed the battery in a hurry and forgot to take a pic before doimg so

Quoted from Hammerhead:

If you’re looking at the component side, battery at the top, positive is the left terminal

So you mean left on this pic?

yep, it came this way, but lots of tracks are gone with the battery damage. Hopefully the ICs are ok :-s
