I have a Midway Haunted House I'm trying to get sorted out so I thought I'd start my own thread. I have some questions for those of you that have been there.
First, I have recapped my motor speed control unit, but it's still running slow. in addition to that the monster only works once in a while when the game first starts up.. also after the monster stops working he seems to stay energized in the home position which can't be good. Do any of you think this could be a problem with the driver transistors on the Motor Speed control board.. also the Horizontal Witch unit is slow and doesn't always make the rounds. If it's in second speed there is no problem.. again could this have to do with motor speed control board.

Second, what exactly triggers the monster to run? Is it the score wheel all the way to the left? I need to find out why he's staying energized in the return to home position and why he's not working right.

Third, just looking for a tip. I usually use a points file for contact cleaning, however the gap on almost all of the relays on the back door are too tight/close for a point file. What do/did you folks use? Once these issues are finished it should be ready to go.
