    Quoted from dudah:

For the black I laid down the big tree part first, I wish I would have left myself a little bit more bleed over with the purple but I got pretty spot on. The house and bat and arms that went over the 12" Oramask limit I chopped up individually and spliced them in. Masked and sprayed. Naptha soaked q tips and paper towel are so clutch for little cleanups.
I want to protect my work, considering spraying a polyeurethane clear coat or maybe even SprayMax2k.
Not sure if SprayMax would be suitable on a vertical cabinet with the few nooks and crannies.
I don't want to have to sand a bunch and get a thick mirror finish, just something hard to protect the cabinet.

Water-based spray such as Miniwax or varathane work well for that. Several light coats.
