For the last few months I've been working on opening a dive bar/ arcade in the Mid-South with darts, pool and 30+ Pins. We have a space picked out on Broad Ave in Memphis(Lease is taking forEVER). Wanted to share a few different elements of what I've been working on. In addition to purchasing and restoring 38 machines over the last 4 years, I've also done preliminary renderings of what I hope the space will look like in Photoshop and also several graphics elements in Illustrator and After Effects. I continue to work on several other animations of our logo etc.

    Front render:

Interior render(using photos of my actual machines):

first thought is how close are those bar stands behind the game and if it will affect peoples ability to play comfortably and how hard will it be to move games around to service them depending on how much room is available. looks pretty close, if people are lined up playing the games with the table behind them can people walk behind them? If 3 games in that row are being played will the middle person be stuck until one of the people to their side is finished?

looks like a sweet setup but that was my first thought

best of luck! more location pin is always a welcomed sight!

    1) If there aren't 901 games when I show up I'm asking for the manager

    2) If that ceiling height render is to scale... get bigger TVs

    3) T-shirt design with the fisheye perspective is going to make fat pinball guys look even fatter

    4) Good luck!

That angle is a bit of an optical illusion. There is enough room for a player, plus someone to walk behind them. Plus we are looking at other options other than couches between the "player bars." Also, there will be a gallery monitor for every pinball machine so you won't have to look over your competitors shoulder. No need to crowd! Plop down at a player's bar and sip on a beer.

    1. 901 Games is a board game place that will be next door (based on our area code). You'll have to ask them how many games they have.
    2. It is to scale. We will have projectors as well.
    3. It will encourage a gym membership.
    4. Thanks!

David's games look and play great. His last location was a pretty sweet setup as well. I'm sure this will be a destination place for anyone making a trip in Tennessee.
