See if you can pop the lever off and back onto a different switch.
That switch looks suspiciously like the shooter lane switch on my Apollo 13 (and probably is, since Sega/DE are from the same "parents" if you will) but if you can't find one check your parts box for a microswitch of the appropriate physical dimensions and terminal configuration and see if the lever part can be transplanted.
It usually can.
