Mine was partially repainted prior to getting it. I'm seeing a grey silver inside the cab along the sides and a darker blackish but not black color on the backbox. Can't find a true black web anywhere.

Anyone know what color the webbing was from factory?
Should there be webbing on the cabinet front face?

I am seeing the same grey/silver darker blackish colors on my Mibs too.
Must be black the webbing and over the years the color has changed to grey/silver darker blackish colors.

Thank you, I just wasn't sure what I was seeing as the rest of my machines clearly look black. I think you're correct though as you can see from this pick the lower part not exposed to any light is still quite dark but the upper portion is very grey.

I think it's silver because my Bowling Queen is also silver. They are the same year and playfield design.

I know certain machines had silver and some had black webbing. I know that MIBS was indeed silver webbing.
sometime the silver gets aged and almost looks black.
just pull off the coin entry plate and you will know for sure.

Thanks guys, silver sounds good. That area is the best I have, the whole cab has been taken apart but this was about the only area that wasn't toast and still had paint.

My MIBS has a silver webbing on it.

I'm going to experiment between this and my spray gun here shortly. I know this stuff is generally too thick, curious if heating it up would thin out the result at all? anyone try that?
