I just wanted to start a post saying I've start powder coating my upgrade armor and parts at my shop now. I had a local company do it for years, but lately they were getting busier and busier so my turn around times were long. Now, I'm doing it in house I have a lot faster turn around time on my orders and customized Pinball Refinery edition machines.

I'll post some pictures on some of the powder coating jobs that I've done on this thread...

Thank you to everyone that has ordered my products over the years. I will continue to do what I can for everyone that would like my products.

    Steve
    Mi Pinball Refinery

Are prices dropping now that you do not have to pay someone else to do it?

    #5 4 years ago

Rates are competitive and I'll do an exchange program on un-needed armor as well. I've done this for years but this isn't advertised it on my website.

This might be the best looking game I have ever seen. Looks great.

Remember that TWD premium you did with the light green armor? I am pretty sure it was a 1 time color you did for TPF. Nicest TWD I have ever seen.

Thanks Woody. My customer wasn't too sure on this powder coating color, but I assured him it would look great on it and I feel it does. He is very happy with how it turned out.

Yes I remember that Walking Dead Premium. It was a oops color but looked bitchin.

Actually I'm on a little vacation right now with my wife in your neck of the woods. (KY and TN). We were in Nashville today. It has been perfect weather this week.

You’re powder coating is top notch Steve

    #43 4 years ago

On all of my kits, I have a company completely remove all of the original powder coating from the armor. They take it down to the bare metal to ensure there's no issues with the new color adhering correctly. Of course there's cost involved on my end, but I want to ensure my customer gets a quality product.

A very long time ago I tried to just go over the original powder coating and had some quality issues, so there's no savings when it comes to quality.

Cool thanks . I’ll be sending some things to pc this summer. BTW, do you do copper or faux copper/bronze plating for a pin like LotR?

    #49 1 year ago

Sorry... No plating just powder coating.

I looked forward to doing some powder coating for you

    Thanks,
