    Quoted from goatdan:

Phew, back after the thread lock or something? I don't know what happened, but ah well!
We're presenting the Wave game on Saturday if anyone is in town and wants to have a fun time. Game starts at 1:05, and should have some different funny stuff thought out the time!
More to come! Just got parking rate thoughts, and so I think I can put together some final details now for machine moving!

Darn. 1 week off! I'll be at the game on the 17th.

What's all this about? Some kind of party?

    Quoted from Whysnow:

Chaos is completely locked down at this stage so no spots can be transferred.

    Lame as fuck.

    Quoted from Whysnow:

Chaos has a limited number of spots

Exactly. Makes no sense not to fill them with people who are able to be there at the vacated timeslot.
The argument about time restraints holds no water. You make it very clear that the games are set up hard. It’s a good idea. Plus many people are walking up to some of these unique games for the very first time. And most importantly time is allotted for 90 players.
How limited our the slots for arcade all volunteers? Can I get in?

    Quoted from floyd1977:

If the policy against drinks in the arcade hall applies to all drinks and not just alcoholic ones, in order to keep liquids away from expensive games, I'm down with that.
However, if security allows people to bring in their water, pop and coffee as I have seen in prior years (and then proceed to set them on top of someone's game), then I will be drinking "coffee" all day Saturday.

Containers that can be sealed have been allowed the last two years. Hope that hasn’t changed.

    Are we loading in yet?

Have been for hours. Looking good!

the guy in the blue shirt said "thanks for bringing your game in a snow storm".

Probably Aaron. goonie Every time I saw him this weekend he had a huge smile on his face. It made me happy just seeing him. Such a phenomenal dude who does so much for the show.

I’ve seen lots of comments about security so I’ll throw in my two cents. Besides the power tripping asshole (Greg?), overall I thought the rest of the security team did a great job.
Thousands of people rushing in on Saturday morning and security was clear about where people with wristbands should go, where people who needed tickets should go, where people with lanyards could go etc.
The only complaint I heard multiple times was consistency. Sometimes people were allowed in with a beer, or soda, and other times they were told they could not be in the arcade hall with them. A pretty small complaint considering it was our first year there. And I told everybody the same thing, get a closable container for your drinks.
I know the volunteers get a lot of thanks, but Chris Matte, Tom Graf, and Eric Strangeway REALLY killed it this year! Thanks guys!
