Quoted from epthegeek:Yuuuuup, and you can’t even see all of it. Marco is next door with 50+ more.
Can't wait! We'll be there right when the doors open on Saturday. Hopefully we'll see some familiar faces
Is it possible to buy a ticket for just Saturday at the event when you arrive same day, or is it necessary to pre-purchase one online? Any advantage or disadvantage either way? Thx.!

Wow - I had no idea there would be this many games (especially new ones) available to view / play. Really looking forward to this! (great pics, btw!)

Oh sweet you can see my big bald head way in the back opening my Star Trek Premium (which I’m selling by the way). Lots of awesome new in box pins!!
Quoted from Boyo25guy:Hey Madison MGC goers,
I’m getting a show game, and the vehicle I was planning to haul the pin back to Madison is no longer available. I’ve got some contingencies if necessary, but if any of the Madison crew has room in their vehicle on the way back and could take my game, there’d be $100 in it for you. I’d help load up the game at MGC, and you could drop it off at my place Sunday, Monday, or Tuesday evening. Please PM me if you’re interested. Thanks!
Stop by my booth. I mean, I’m probably going to your house and all after the show

Quoted from gambit3113:My MBSE is there with Kingpin. Opened to play there and then coming this way with my ACNC.
Awesome! Kingpin’s area is going to be really nice . He brought in around 100 games (pinballs , kiddie rides , crane games )
Quoted from RGR:So how was BKSOR?
That clear upper playfield looks pretty cool. None of the Stern games had power to them yet.

Yeah that playfield sure does look pretty cool can’t wait to see how it plays . I played one game on a pro , can’t really tell much from one game but it seems pretty cool .Shoots good , Animations that I saw looked real nice ,music and sound package is good ,artwork loooks really good . It’s got a fire in the back of the playfield that lights up when you hit the ramp and that looks pretty awesome.
I saw a few modes also “hell hand” and another mode something about “sands” with some gnarly looking wormlike creatures .

Updated list.
First off: hats off to all setting up booths and games to make this show happen. I have been attending MGC since 2007 and I will haft to say this seems to be the largest ever which is awesome. This year I will be taking a break from setting up a booth and just bringing games for the free play area. In the beginning I remember the last few years of Olympia and then Brookfield where I would bring a 26ft truck of games (oh those huge fighters some of the mgc staff can relate) and a 16ft trailer load to make sure we had a large inventory for all to play. Now there so many great people that have stepped up (marco, kingpin, and this year hemispheres, CGC and a few other i am sure i missed) to the plate, to bring all these new in box and more. I remember the first year i brought WOZ to the show (oh what a solid line for three days!) and a few years after till KP became a dist. for JJP and started helping his home show by leaps and bounds of his and his family's craziness and vast collection of games and kiddie rides LOL. Last few years i have set up API booths, as i am a dist for them, this year with the day job craziness i will be a floater and helping out if needed..
Safe travels to all! See you this evening.

If anyone thought MGC was good last year, just wait until this year. If you are not impressed by what the distributors and manufacturers are doing this year than their is something seriously wrong with you.

It is INSANE !
Anyone contemplating if they should make the trip, do it! I counted over 100 nib games as of yesterday that are set up and ready for play
Toss on the likely other 200 collector game that are showing up today and WOW!
Then toss on all the other stuff that MGC has and double wow!
Show is probably 50% larger than last year in my estimation
Quoted from KingPinGames:just an update
JJP 14 playable games, 5 NIB
Cranes 31 (all new and really neat looking) we are at 104 playable games and 5 NIB for decoration....
Cranes ! Oh Oh . Sounds like something else that just might be tempting to add my game room.
Quoted from KrustyBurger:Is it possible to buy a ticket for just Saturday at the event when you arrive same day, or is it necessary to pre-purchase one online? Any advantage or disadvantage either way? Thx.!
If you buy online, you *might* have less of a wait in the will-call line than the regular admission line, but it’s not required.
Hot damn MGC!
Looking proper, i’m very envious, hope everyone has a blast!
Thanks for the pics and stories so far!
Leaving in a few minutes.
Don't know if I can get into the reveal tonight. Don't know if the vendor stuff gets me in. Don't know if Dan is giving me a VIP thing. Don't have a VIG ticket ( would have bought one earlier if I knew I was going. I found out four days ago CGC was sending me ).
Great show anyway ! I hope I see a lot of old and new friends !
LTG : )
Disclaimer : Anyone that can't go, I hope one day you'll be able to. Dan and all the people helping and attending make for a great show !
Quoted from orangestorm87:Is it wrong with all these NIB games, I get really excited for what EM's may be showing up? Also love it when a wood rail pops up at this show as well.
Now if only we could get the STL-Ball Bowler guys to show up, this would be perfect!
I think have a good mix of old stuff plus new stuff makes the show better. I'm hoping to see some EMs and early SS stuff also! Having a ball bowler there would be awesome!

5200 show price?
This is what I don't get. Why aren't there more pinball vendors? I know Expo is more of a hardcore pinball show and "the thing" when it comes to pinball, but it is so much smaller. I mean, there are going to be probably 300 pinball machines at MGC, yet very few vendors come. 2 years in a row now, pinball machines have been unveiled and playable first at MGC. Is it just still too new and the vendors dont understand how big it is yet? Maybe they think its more of an arcade show than pinball? Just curious from a vendors standpoint.

I would love to see more pinball vendors there. Believe me, I love all of the other vendors that show up as well, but more pinball stuff would be much welcomed.
