Quoted from Fortytwo:How can you possibily classify that number of kiddy rides? A convoy of kiddy rides?
Menagerie.

Quoted from KingPinGames:You guys are are going to make me cry. Good thing I am not reading this while driving down the road (not that I would do that... often).
Thanks for all the kind words. 2 of the rides were sold, which was our goal for the weekend. Dan said we should bring 10-15 rides in, so we said okay... then we brought in 28 instead. When you have 300+ rides in the warehouse it is tough to pick "a couple." There are so many good ones that we didn't bring, but the 28 of them took up 9/10 of the semi that we rented.
Looking forward to what will happen next year.
Thanks for all the help from everyone who made this MGC one of the best ever!
Please please please bring them next year! It will be the first time my family comes to the new venue and the little ones will go nuts for them. I took a break from pinball and just watched everyone having fun in the kiddie rides and seeing all the smiles made me smile too.
I thought the kiddie rides were AMAZING, If I had my kids with I probably would have spent several hours in that section watching them ride every one a couple times. But you could bring half as many and it would still be awesome.
Quoted from jwilson:I admit, the kiddie rides were cool. I wanted to try them all but I'm not under 12.
Well, I'm glad to see the sign worked for someone. I put the age restriction in just so I wouldn't have to yell at the adults, but in reality most ride can hold up to about 350 lbs. Just didn't want some of you scary guys chasing the kids away.

Good thing my wife took Odie for a ride before the sign went up!
Nice Adam, Katie seems to be having the time of her life. When's her birthday? Did i miss the shirt swapping puctures?

yeah, you can see just how concerned my dad was with the rules as he sits behind her on the next ride...
Quoted from trilogybeer:Did you ask that guy directions?
Because I did .
You are not alone...

Yeah, seriously thank you for bringing these. Just awesome. You almost sold a 3rd one, but I just couldn't get my head in the game on Sunday to do it. I blame Greg. Next year...
And, okay, I have no idea why this picture uploaded to this post. Weird. And it won't let me delete it. I did find this funny though.
The actual security guard 30 feet away from this one was not cool. He made me walk outside in the sleet because the bridge to the Hilton was "for vendors."

The only question I have is, "Why did you take it?"
Quoted from Gryszzz:Goes to Wisconsin. Remembers to bring tweezers for stray nosehairs. Forgets coat.
Sounds like a woman!
LOL!
Quoted from Fortytwo:Because this is a photo thread.
I thought it was cool that stern printed custom game cards for the machines.
And me and the Games and movies podcast guys. At least some of them.
Hey that’s my name.......and I wasn’t even there.
Forgot to post this one. Thank you to KingPinGames for bringing the kiddie rides.

Man, all these people that I "know" but don't actually know because we've never met in person. I kinda wish Pinside forced real names so I could put names to faces and have an even better time.

I have bought three or four show games throughout the years. I saw these and was like damn, I should have bought one this year to get that!
Quoted from Beatnik-Filmstar:Since I haven't seen any others posted - some Tom Taylor pics.
Did you double check with Tom about posting these? Just being careful seeing is he is so generous with his private collection. I am quite sure there are certain items in his collection that he doesn't want posted publicly.

Had no idea it was a possible issue. Removed. He was really really nice in person and there's no way I want to cause him to stop letting people come by.
I have seen pics of his collection posted before and he never seemed to have a problem with photography. I guess it can't hurt to err on the side of caution but I'm not sure I see any harm.
Quoted from ChrisS:It's a nice touch on the machines.
Agreed. It's those little details that make a difference. I told Mark what a great idea it was and he appreciated the kudos.

Strange how impressed I was at just a piece of paper. But to me it really showed stern appreciation of the buyers supporting the show and stern.

FYI... That was something Marco did...

Cool than replace stern with Marco.
I wonder if the template was their creation or supplied by stern. Looked framed and font correct.
Quoted from Fortytwo:Relocated my sticker into the backbox. I hope to keep filling this with more MGC and other show stickers.
Would be cool to get a small yearly sticker loose like Harley meetup patches.
an excellent idea
Ok, now I'm pissed. I looked all over Saturday to see if there was a commando. I even checked all of those little rooms on the second floor. Where was this located? Please don't tell me the pinball hall.

There was an almost-commando in the bar.
