    I contacted a distributor in china a few years ago. According to her, they sell mainly to central and south america. At the time they cost around $500 each and another $500 to ship.

    Yes, they're used for gambling, and unlike old US Bingos, many have payout chutes so there's no "don't ask don't tell" attempt to hide any of it.
