Now that Craftsman has gone down the toilet, I'm looking at different options.

I saw these on TV 20 years ago and was always intrigued.

They aren't cheap, but their sockets and wrenches will work on both standard and metric fasteners. Any opinions out there???

For wrenches you're probably best to just get a set of Knipex Pliers Wrenches if you want a catch-all tool. These actually are better on the fastener head than a standard box or open end wrench because they clamp across the flats when you're torqueing rather than just sitting across the flats.

I have the 7 1/4" set, but that's because I mostly use them for bike repair, which is my full time job. For pinball you'd probably be best off getting the 5" or 6" model. Thinking of getting one of the smaller sets myself.

I can't really give ya any advice when it comes to sockets.
