CPR had the playfield listed as printing about a month ago and now has removed it from their website. I placed a pre-order but have not heard anything. Emailed them as well but have not heard back.

Anyone have an update on this playfield?

CPR now stating the Meteor pfs are shipping - which I am guessing back to them since none are currently listed for sale.

Coyote,

Any word on when the score decals for the top drop targets might be available?

I ordered a gold meteor CPR a few months back and am now ready to install. Take a look at this pic. Anyone else have this issue with their pf - notice the grain in the clear. The whole pf is like that.

Received a nice email from Kevin at CPR. He gave the reason for this and said it is not uncommon. It happens because of the cure rate and moisture in the board. I guess I will live with it. Not really noticeable unless looking top down with bright light.

Quoted from woz:

Svendtube I also plan on using the new code and rules set available - what do the drop targets score in the new code?
I just took my CPR Meteor playfield out of the box (I think I was one of the first to get one) as I am now at last ready to do the swap. I was dismayed to find that the woodgrain is now clearly visible and I can also feel it with my hand. Do you think the grain will be an issue going forward or can I just leave alone? I really don't want to have to add clearcoat, but think I may have to go that route now.
I was also disappointed to find out last night that the 3 bank drop target slot is not long enough for repro drop targets with the hat on top - I plan on keeping the originals in there so it shouldn't be a problem unless one breaks....

I had a similar issue with my CPR meteor. It showed wood grain and the score values were missing from the METEOR drop targets. When I contacted CPR they said the grain was typical. No response to the missing score values. For the score values I bought water slip decals and covered with a small piece of mylar.
