Meteor won't boot. No flashes or beeps. All Gi is on and back box lighting on. Displays digits aren't lit, but the each slave has small illumination coming from bottom.
Had SDU and MPU checked and told bench tested normal,
Voltages look within range
RECTifier TP1 6 sdu tp 1 4.99 mpu tp1 4.6
TP 2 235.5 tp 2 183.2 tp2 13
TP 3 13.8 tp 3 4.96 tp3 22.5
TP 4 6.69 tp 4 238.8 tp5 3.4
tp5 44.8 tp5 13.1
under pf fuse tested as well..
What am I missing?

Has the reset section been rebuilt yet?

I don't think it was. Would that be something that would show up as a problem on a bench test?

#4 4 years ago

If it boots on the bench and not in the game you probably have a connector problem. MPU TP5 should be 5 volts. MPU TP2 should be 12 volts.

I should have said I assume it boots on bench. It was sent out and tested and didn't have any issues

I didn't look at how it changed my spacing on that first post .. mpu tp 5 was 3.4 and tp2 was 13

MPU TP5 looks low. Check driver board TP1 and TP3 - should be 5 volts. If good there check your connectors from driver board to MPU.

driver board is 5 v at TP 1 TP3 (4.96)
If the voltages are correct, can it still be a connector issue? I guess a connector issue not voltage related?

I have another meteor that's 100%, I didn't want to mess with it but If I try that MPU I guess that would answer any questions with the board..

The MPU won't boot with only 3.4 volts at TP5. The 5 volts comes from the driver board J3 pins 18 and 19. They go to the MPU to J4 pins 16 and 17. Look for corrosion or dirt on those pins.

Thank you. I will look those connectors next
