Quoted from zacaj:PBR sells them
Thank you. I found it there.
Next question. Have any of you guys tried to touch up the spots around the inserts?

My !s, 2s, and 3s all are complete but I bout a whole set since some my Meteor targets were missing. Im considering replacing all of them since my numbered targets are yellowed. I may try to retrobright them. I have had success with outer parts like the credit button and coin bezels on my Meteor project.
Quoted from Evets:Here is my hoard, taken from two separate games. The other nine DTs (1,2,3) currently in the game are the same, all with the "long lead-catch".

I would be interested to know if the retrobright removes the lettering on the OEM targets.
Quoted from Coyote:I'm retro-brighting mine. I got the set of hot-stamped targets, with the hoods on them, and while the font is correct, I do not like how they work.
Haha I just did the same thing. 100% peroxide and let it sit in the sun
Quoted from play_pinball:I just retrobrited the coin entry slots on this door. It took 3 full days in the sun to really see results.
In retrospect I should’ve done the button too

My meteor project is coming along. She’s not perfect but she’s looking nice and shiny. Still need to repaint the spinner and replace the drop targets. I also included a before and after coin door pic.

Thanks! Yeah, I retrobrighted the button and coin slots, painted the door and polished the chrome bezel. It looks pretty nice.
I added a red 20” led strip under the head. I really like the look of it. When I originally bought it, I was thinking I’d have it shine through the grille. However, I changed my mind since there was not enough light coming through to the game.

Sometimes you have to adjust the placement of the drop target unit to get clearance so it doesn't drop right off the bat after resetting.
Thanks! ill continue to tweak it and see if I can get better results.
Sawyer, Marco Pinball has a lot of Meteor parts.
Yeah, I got parts from all over. I found the spinner decals at Auction pinball.
Quoted from bluespin:Like the drop targets that they buy from Pinball Resource for $60 and resell for $85. And the pop bumper caps they buy from PBR for $6 and sell for $9. Always pays to look around as Marcos is almost always more expensive than PBR or PBL. That said, Marcos carries items that the other two don’t.
Would you be interested in selling me one?
Quoted from lowbeau67:Luckily had a friend at work whose husband has a sign/banner business.
Was able to make a few stickers to help cover
some defects on my apron.

I’ll be streaming Meteor tonight with the 2021 update at 8 o’clock EST. I have the updated code running and I hope to see some of you guys there.
