So...I finally finished building my BSOS/J5 interface board and after many attempts, got the software uploaded to my Nano. When I plugged the interface into my game, it works fine with old code with the exception of all the sounds are out with the exception of the sound from when you knock down all the meteor drop targets. When I switch it to the new code, my Altech MPU hangs with the self test light staying illuminated.

Quoted from SlapDrain:

When it was clipped to the negative side of c16 on the sb300 it was really muddy and honestly pretty terrible. Almost gave up on going this route. Now that i have it clipped to r23 it sounds awesome and im really impressed with it. Im using a kenwood road series 6" speaker in the stock location in the cabinet. Here is a pic of the circuit before shrink tubing and headphone jack.[quoted image]

SlapDrain, what size resistor did you use? I know it is 1K ohms, but what wattage are you using?

Quoted from SlapDrain:

1/4 watt will do

Thanks!

It’s been a minute since I’ve messed with my game, but how do you set the game on coin play versus just starting a game by pressing the credit button under the right coin chute?

The issue is it's starting a game with no credits by pressing the start button. Wondering if it is an issue with the code or some setting that I'm missing.
