I'm not really sure what the Metaverse is, but it must be amazing because they chose it over 11,000 employees. Who else is excited for the Metaverse? Can we play pinball in the metaverse? Are the games in stock?

I think all of us who work in tech are nervous right now. I think every large tech company has a lot of bloat, and even if you're valuable, you can't rely on management to recognize that and keep you over someone who is less valuable.
I narrowly avoided layoffs by jumping ship a few months ago, and now I'm starting to worry about whether my new company is vulnerable.
