You tell us! You can check fuses visually (not always accurate), or with a multimeter on the resistance or continuity settings.
Doesn't look like you have the SPIKE system - lucky you !

Service Bulletin #184
June 12, 2015
Use of anything else other than an authorized Stern Pinball OEM shaker motor assembly on a SPIKE equipped game could damage the game’s cabinet node board and will void your game’s warranty.
Symptom:
The game will not start after installing an aftermarket shaker motor assembly. The game’s start button, coin switches, Plumb Bob tilt and coin door G/I lamps do not work.
Problem:
Aftermarket shaker motors have a 100Uf -50V capacitor between the motor’s blue wire and the shaker motor frame. The capacitor causes excessive currents to flow as a result of pulse width modulation (PWD) used to control the speed of the motor. This excessive current exceeds design parameters causing damaging failures of the cabinet Node board.
Quoted from Gnatty:Well there you have it^^^^^
Have what? That post had nothing to do with anything. The guy's got a pre-LED-PRO metallica. Just look at the speaker panel and GI...it's pretty obvious. Spike issues have nothing to do with it.
Metallica is SAM and not SPIKE. The OP said he thinks he wired it wrong.....hopefully he did not put a shaker wired for SPIKE in there. I would suggest taking a close look and make sure you have the correct shaker........double check your work to see what you might have done wrong. The shaker should have been plug and play as it was when I installed it in my premium. Check all your fuses first. If any are bad I would change any that are bad. Disconnect the shaker and then see if your game works. If it works and no issues you may want to look close at the shaker board and motor....if nothing looks suspect with the shaker try hooking up the shaker....double check your work and make sure it is hooked up correctly.........be sure to write down what fuses are bad if any....that will help you figure out what else could be a problem.

At least my post was relevant and on topic - even as a future PSA when someone has the same issue with a SPIKE Met and searches Pinside.
Your post on the other hand ...
Quoted from Gremlin818:Ok but if it not the fuse is the machine done is it not fixable
Everything is fixable
Check your fuses - they are there to protect the electronics incase of a power surge or human error.
Hopefully the fuse just needs to be replaced and you will be back in the game.
Now I know a person that did this same exact thing on an Avengers and . well the Boards had to go back to stern .. Motoman is the one this happened to . Maybe he will chime in

I was going to let your post slide until the other guy piped up cheering on the mis-information... it's clear this guy is a total noob when it comes to repair, and posting crap like that is only going to confuse the issue.
Quoted from Frax:I was going to let your post slide
Quoted from Gremlin818:Yeah I hope it just the fuse
Open up the head and find out...should take all of 30 seconds. Make sure you unplug the shaker if you haven't already done so. All of the fuses on the main boards have LED indicators in line with them, so you can quickly tell if a voltage is missing or a fuse is toast. Make sure that *if* you have the coin door open at the same time, close it, or you pull out the white interlock switch, because otherwise it will APPEAR that a lot of stuff is not working.
Oooh...picture trolling, how NOVEL. Welcome to 1994, folks. Let's throw down.

I'd go a step further and say internet forums in general: https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/profile/gremlin818?mode=topics#topiclist

Unless I am missing something there will NOT be a SPIKE Metallica.......as I understand any games that are run will be the platform they were originally built on....Unless Stern decides to change that.....but my understanding is NEW titles will be SPIKE. VE or runs of current NON-SPIKE games will be made on their original platform.
Having phone difficulties so apologize if this is a double.

VE or runs of current NON-SPIKE games will be made on their original platform. Will be interesting to see what Stern actually does as more VE's are released.

TWD was released originally as SAM and then later SPIKE.
MET LED Pro with the new backbox design - I assumed it ran on SPIKE. I guess not?

Interesting. How do you explain the SPIKE TWD I saw and played?
