I was trying to determine the possible causes for GI issues on my Metallica premium. Although tonight it seems to be working ok so I can't really troubleshoot it at the moment.

Here is a video of the symptom where the GI flickers on/off very fast.

Its going to ba . aboard connector . I seen this happen on another MET in our area. I for get which connecor though

I believe I found the issue: The power connector for the under-playfield RGB driver board was starting to cook. I have some trifurcon pins, but I don't know if I have the right connector housing...

Yes, this is the cause of the issue. I had the same problem a year or so ago. Williams/Bally GI burn redux. It would have just completely gone black pretty soon and stayed that way.
