Wanted to post a video of my Metallica topper. This is just a prototype. I am still tweeking some art and lights. The video is a bit dim and blurry but it will give you an idea of where I'm going. The tombstone text is only temporary. Didn't want to use any copyrighted images so had to be as creative as possible within the restrictions. Feedback is always appreciated. -Dan

I think you just converted a guy who 'Can't stand add-on toppers' to 'I might have to buy this one'

Damn that's awesome..nice work

ETA: maybe some red snake eyes?

#3 10 years ago

Not bad

RIP Cliff

#4 10 years ago

Well done!

Looks great. Will you ship to Australia and New Zealand?

#6 10 years ago

Burn in Hell Disco?

#7 10 years ago

Where is the RIP Napster?

Yes. I just shipped an ACDC topper to Australia. Got there in 12 days...

#9 10 years ago

I really dig the snake with the fangs. Unfortunately, I think that will cause many to not purchase it because all the LE's and probably all the Prem's won't have them. Unless, someone repro's them. Which I'd be down for ASAP.

BTW: Nice looking topper and I like the way it interacts with the music.

Looks pretty good. I'd make it a little more Metallica specific personally and include an reference to Cliff Burton and less 70's era disco bashing.

I agree. The tombstone text was just added for the prototype. The final will be different.

And you did not get a charge back?

#14 10 years ago

Looks good.

I was not a big Topper fan, I am now thinking I need to add one of your toppers to all of my games.

#16 10 years ago

I also have 3 ACDC toppers left and they will ship next week. Don't know if I'll do another run of them or not....

That looks awesome... Just as a suggestion, what if you made the speaker cones transparent backlit like the crosses so they look like they are projecting the sound. Just an idea and maybe the snakes eyes glow red or green.

#22 10 years ago

Really creative. Nice work! Cool lighting effect...

Instead of Burn in Hell Disco, it should read Burn in Hell Rap Music. -J

Burn in Hell Disco?

Should say hip hop rap crap. All in all pretty good and different from backglass translite which is key.

#28 10 years ago

I have a run of toppers with custom tombstones going to print tomorrow. If interested, please PM asap. Thanks

#29 10 years ago

One of the tombstones should have a Napster reference without question!!!!!!!!!! I'm not even kidding, that would be awesomely funny.

I received mine today. I really like the noise activated setting. Topper looks great, and it's nice that customization was an option for the tombstones. High quality product, great work!

If I had a MM I would order that one too.

Thanks
