These are the prices here:

METALLICA PRO PINBALL - $6350.00
METALLICA PREMIUM 'ROAD CASE' - $8450.00
METALLICA PREMIUM 'DIRTY DONNY' - $8450.00
METALLICA LIMITED EDITION - $9250.00

Just wondering what the prices were there??

#2 10 years ago

I know the pro's are $4600,& the LE's were $7200 shipped to your door.

#3 10 years ago

Those prices seem way to high! You should be able to get a pro for 4500ish and premium for a little over 6k. Get a new dealer if they are price gouging.

#4 10 years ago

Price that I know were paid..

Pro = $4500 shipped to you door
LE = $6900 shipped to a terminal

OP is in Australia. I would assume the pricing is typically much higher there.

#6 10 years ago

Yep, shipping etc...

#7 10 years ago

Is that Australian currency? Whats the exchange rate? AUS to USD

Curious, How much is a gallon or liter of gas? We are 3.25 usd for a gallon.

Prices on pins are way higher overseas (generally speaking)

Speak for yourself. California is @ $4

#10 10 years ago

In Netherlands the price for a MOPLE was usd 9500, that is including 21% VAT ......
This from an official stern distributor

For reference, Acdc premium costs the same at the moment, 6 months ago an Acdc premium was usd 1200 cheaper .....

$3.59 here!

#12 10 years ago

michigan is currently hovering around $3.71-3.80 a gallon

#13 10 years ago

premium $6375 shipped to door

LE was $7100 shipped to door originally

#14 10 years ago

I had an LE through a distributor for $7100 shipped, but soon found out they would not deliver as promised. Only option after day one (that I knew of) was through the metclub. Price there was $7595 + shipping.

Seriously! That price is way below Map and distributors who are selling for these prices will soon find themselves cut off.

#16 10 years ago

Man, LE's better come with some kick ass laser etched trim to justify the $1k+ price difference over Premium. It's one thing if it's $500 or so, but 1k and more and it better be more significant then a limited # and a mirrored backglass.

Glad I don't have this addiction overseas

#17 10 years ago

About a $700 Price diff in the US on Prem to LE.. LE also normally inflate in price faster.

#18 10 years ago

To all the people commenting on the prices the op posted are way too high and they need new distro....Do you realize they are in Australia?

#19 10 years ago

Yikes I want an LE but I don't even think you can get them

#20 10 years ago

Most of you would be SHOCKED to see how low margins us US guys sell for to Pinside Members. Other Markets Such As Canada, Europe, and the Ausies pay FAR FAR more.

gallon is $7,5 here , you have very cheap gas in US....

#22 10 years ago

And to add insult to my own injury, MET PRO is $6225, Premium $8670 over here (EUR prices converted to US). I am surprised that AUS prices are about same.

Well, to be honest, pinballs are made here; so they should be cheaper than overseas.

On the other hand, if I want a Kiwi or Kangaroo as a pet, I'm going to pay a lot!

If only It could be half that...$2.50/gal even; I could then afford Metallica lolololol

#27 10 years ago

You Going to love this guys ....

Here in spain, im scheduled to pay 7800 EUR for a Metallica LE when it finally arrives, thats without the VAT of 21% that our goverment graciously charges to anything coming overseas. That raises the bill to about 11800 of your USA Dollars.

After reading most of you guys got your MoPLE for 7200$ shipped to your door, I feel like an idiot ... its 50% more expensive here, and dont really think that shipping the pin to Europe costs 3800$ ... so I have two options ... get my pants down and prepare for the rape, or just play it virtually in any simulator.

Obviously I allready got my pants down .... someone can share a little lube?

#31 10 years ago

Ohh i forgot ... and for the gas here is 1.5 EUR for a litre ... since a gallon is 3.7 litres, that makes it 5,55EUR that converted to US dollars ... makes the funny number of 7,17 (funny if u dont live in spain, and need gas of course)

Again is our gentle goverment, that taxes our GAS with allmost 70% of its value in Taxes ....

Someone want to exchange places?

you have a third option...........insert waving american flag......move here

#33 10 years ago

Yeah electronics prices are crazy here, same goes for buying guitars. Overseas you can get the same thing for nearly half the price from some places but our $ is pretty much equal. I don't see how it's good business for Stern either, pretty sure more loads more aussies would buy a pin for under 5k which would average out to more sales and more money rather than the few who will pay 6.5k

About $1.33 a litre... 3.78 litres to a gallon... $5.02 for a gallon here..

#35 10 years ago

That VAT is bs! So is the name. Value-added? Sounds like tax without representation.

We don't know how good we have it here with our cheap gas. The only country I saw with cheaper gas was in UAE.

#36 10 years ago

Yeah things are so cheap in the states and thats one of the reasons I love coming over. Jeans omg... here they are like $80- $150... There $20.. Sneakers here $120-$250, there $50.. The list goes on and on. As for pinball if the $ goes back to $0.75 then that will hurt us badly...

Yeah, unfortunately we produce all of ZERO of that crap-it all gets imported from China or some other country that pays 10 cents/Hr for labor...notice how we can't produce any jobs.

#38 10 years ago

Was in Saks on 5th Av once and even the "French" fashion items were made in China... WTF...

I hated VAT living there but it was always added to the price of the items in the store. I liked that. Basically if you saw an item on the shelf for 2.20 euro, you payed 2.20 at the register. I liked that the price already had the VAT included. Not like places in the lower 48 where you buy $90 of stuff and it costs $100.

Note: I only said I liked that the taxes were already included in the price, not that there are taxes or the amount of taxes.

I just looked and the VAT rate in England is 20% now then you have to add the duty percent on top of that.

#40 10 years ago

Yeah its called GST here and is included in the price... Like its nice to know the total price rather than buying something + tax....
