(Somebody) Do a J-pop version!
Great job Bre ! Outstanding attention to detail .
Actually that Sparky would look great on top of a KISS headbox especially if you done one for each Kiss band member .
It would be cool if someone painted and sold these, so I could pick one after I saw it. No sending mine in and being sparky-less while I wait. Maybe even send mine in as a core return after I get the new one.
Quoted from Naf:That Angus Sparky kicks ass! Nice work!
Thanks man, that was a cool project.

Once I get your Sparky, i generally paint it that day and mail it back right away. By the time you take it off, mail it , i get it paint it and send it back to you. Sparky is back in your machine within a week. I also only charge 80 bucks, what a bargain !!
The United States Police force has announced the recapture of S.D Bob Aka "Snake" Plissken they say there will be no more Escapes & no more Presidential pardons this time ....... this time he is going to fry >>>>>>> Thanks to the Modfather for bringing my idea to reality

Wow... Sweet!!! Great Job Modfather....
I have to ask, why did you choose to go this route with "snake"?
Tecumsehplissken ~ Badass "snake plissken" ~ so much better than the regular sparky! Can't wait to see him get fried! ~ USPF
Thought I'd share a couple pics of the custom painted Sparky that's forthcoming with my Pinball Refinery MET Monsters. Steve has a brand new artist on board, as Bre is no longer able to do these, and I think she has done a great job!
FWIW: I'm actually a Bears fan, but it will be more satisfying to see a Packer jersey in the chair and I do like their uniforms as well.

Thanks for sharing these pictures of your Sparky that Sarah did for you. I am working on your Refinery Metallica and it will look great in it.... Bre does a great job painting custom figures for us, and I really appreciate her doing them. She told me that she can paint them for a few more months and then has to take a break doing them. So I said something to my wife about finding someone else and it would be great to find someone local. My Daughter hear our conversation and told me about Sarah.
Sarah is my Daughter's boyfriend, twin sister and is studying to be an artist in college. She is planning on teaching art after she graduates from college. So I'm testing out her abilities on a couple of custom painted Sparky for our Refinery Editions and I feel she did a great job on them and it's helping her with some college expenses. So if anyone wants to ship me your Sparky to have him custom painted and help out a Sarah with some college cost please PM me.
Here's another Sparky that she did for me... Frankenstein Sparky. She had some freedom to be creative on him and did a great job.
Thanks,
Steve

FYI in case anyone's interested:
I have listed a Sparky for sale in the Marketplace, cheaper than buying a new one, should anybody want an extra.

Nice creative as well as artistic touch by Sarah on the "Frankenstein" Sparky!
Painting and customizing is one thing, but I really don't dig when people add stuff that wasn't supposed to be there, such as hats, hair, flowers... and even stuff related to other bands.... It just doesn't go with the original intent of the mascot and the band!

Really?? I disagree with you on that one. I think it's fun and these customized Sparkys are great for collectors who want to bash a cooler looking PF toy. I also enjoy seeing other artists work and how far they will go to get the look the collector desires for his Sparky. Keep'em coming guys!!!!

To each his own! Just not for me!
I agree they are awesome, one of the things I like about this mod is its not mass produced and exactly the same on everyone's machine. keep them coming, does Vince take on new work I would like to have him do mine?
I certainly like the ones with the hats, but I'm wondering how they would look in the machine? The electric chair "hat" stuck to his head frying him looks so great, a regular sparky with a giant top hat may not give same impression of being electrocuted?

Yes he does,PM answered.

The top hat on him is about the max height it can be,or it would hit the glass.
We didn't have room for the smoke mod coming out of the hat
It looks cool in the game and acts the same way, when fried.
Here is Vince's pinside name,I talked him into signing up
Now all you guys can go through the man himself.
spinny-vinny Give him a shout if you would like something painted.
I used hydraulic molding clay & once it's baked, I sealed it with at least 5 coats of commercial acrylic clear coat ... it's hard as steel, bro!
