Stern, 2013Noticing my new met pro has a bunch of dimple looking ball marks on the playfield especially up around Sparky. Is this normal? The ball literally flys around quite a bit up there. I've never had a new pin before, obviously wanting to protect this one.
Dimpling is completely normal and nothing to be concerned about.

This is a lightning rod question.
Depends on who you ask. People with new Sterns say it's normal. People with anything but new Sterns say it's not. Either way most here believe it's softer/cheaper wood.
I see you have 17 other machines that do not have any dimples or you wouldn't be asking.
