Patiently waiting for my LE to ship.

Me too! The anticipation is killing me! Will it rock...will it just be okay...will it suck after the big build up? Just friggin' hurry up and build them already!!!

My playfield damage. Not sure what I should do about it. Suggestions?

Call your distributor and/or Stern. That is a manufacturer defect and should be fixed under warranty!

I removed the backglass from my METLE today while the machine was turned on. The brightness from the fluorescent light in the head and the angle from which it was shining across the playfield made me notice thousands of little divets in the playfield. The playfield has an "orange peel" texture. I am assuming this is caused by the balls getting bounced around, but they are pretty consistent all over the playfield and not just in areas where the ball gets some "air". Is this normal and has anyone else noticed this on their MET? Did I get a playfield that missed a coat or two of clear coat? The game only has 500 or so plays, so it's not like it has been abused. My AC/DC which I've had longer and has more plays, doesn't seem to have the same "orange peel" texture. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

It's just part of pinball and all machines have it.

I've been playing pinballs in the local bowling alleys since I was a kid, some 40 plus years...have never noticed it before, but was really never looking because it wasn't my machine. Thanks for the info...I'll sleep better tonight knowing my playfield isn't effed up!

So, have a SMARTDMD in mine running with the colorfile of great PinballMikeD.

That's pretty cool. With the color it made me see details in the animation that I had never noticed before!

Quoted from TOK:

I would love to put either Damage Inc or Phantom Lord in the game in place of one of the songs

Welcome Home (Sanitarium)...this song is definitely one I would like to add if I were ever to take the time to figure out how to do it.
